This site has evolved over time. It
started many years ago as a consulting resource site. It now provides a holding
place for reference materials for my professional relationships with
colleagues as well as my vocational interests. I hope some of these interests overlap with yours
and you find materials here that add to your vocation or avocation. |
|
A sampling of the resources is below. This selection
is driven by my current business interest, but more resources are available on the
pages to the left. |

There is a discussion about the
principles and practices of "Adaptive-Agile" Project management. A
Declaration of Independence has been posted on the Agile Project
Management forum. As a project and program manager I was encouraged
by this effort, but a couple of the Six Core Values did not resonate
with me.
I assembled my trusty "check
list" of project management processes - emphasis process not
methodologies into a single place. In anticipation of the APM Core
Values taking hold, I'm looking for places in our current practices
to apply them. |

My interest in Steve Devaux's
Total
Project Management book has led me deep into "Real Options"
theory for use in software project decision making. Here's a
collection of
papers on the subject. This topic is the "next big thing" in
portfolio management and decision making in the presence of
uncertainty. |

Niwot Ridge is in the foothills above Boulder County, 45 minutes North of Denver,
Colorado. From
Niwot Ridge you can see many of Colorado's Fourteeners as well as the plains of
Kansas and Nebraska. This photo was taken from the town of Niwot (population ~1000) looking west
across the foothills of the Front Range into the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area.
